History of GunMask

This journey began in Wyoming on a blistery snowy November day on an annual family big game hunting trip. The conditions were horrible for our gun and scopes, but perfect for deer hunting. After spending several hours in the field, we found our guns and scopes completely unusable. Saw plenty of deer, but our hunt was over until we thawed our guns and cleaned our scopes and waited for the conditions to improve.

Later that same year, while hunting in Georgia in torrential rain, we used ponchos, scope covers, raincoats, gun sleeves, and anything else we could find to keep our guns and scopes dry to no avail. After the hunt, we scoured the internet looking for a solution to our problem. We purchased every product which we thought would solve our problem. However, none of the products we purchased protected our gun or scope without having to completely remove it in the field which prevented us to take a shot when the opportunity presented itself, which is when it mattered the most!

In total frustration because we could not find a satisfactory solution, came the birth of the GunMask. The GunMask has been in development for more than 4 years, testing different materials, designs, and in all types of harsh weather conditions to provide a viable solution for all hunters.
